3D Plans

Our mood boards and 3D plans are a great way for our clients to get a visual idea of a space’s overall look and feel. The collection of images, textures and colours that form a mood board are an integral part of not only showing a client the ideas for the space, but allowing them to visualise it themselves.

KAGU use a mix of physical and digital mood boards. A physical mood board will allow the client to truly feel each aspect of their new space before it is in situ; carpets, surfaces and textures can all be felt prior to making a decision. A digital mood board drives the mind towards the larger scale picture, it can include a vast range of things, from photos of coffee tables, to beds, to lamps, art etc. All things that otherwise might be difficult to see.

Once we have a good idea of our client’s desired aesthetic, we will begin to create a three-dimensional rendering of the space, including all the walls, furniture, and other elements that will be included in the design. This allows the client to see how all the elements will interact with one another and how the overall design will look.

Once the 3D plans are complete, and our client is happy with this stage, we can then begin to work on the finer details of the design, such as selecting furniture, artwork, and accessories, but still working with the client to make any final changes or adjustments to the design before it is finalised.
